St. Fausta of Sirmium
Died - Third century

Feastday - 19 December

Statue carved - 1667-1668
This is one of 16 statues that were installed between May 1667 and July 1668.

Sculptor - unknown
The sculptor may also have carved the St Macrina (21), as there are stylistic similarities with the modeling of the drapery and the treatment of the hair.

Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine
The saint brings her left hand to her chest as she turns her head to the left.

St Fausta was considered to be the mother of St Anastasia.  This is very little historical information on her, and therefore she has been removed from the Roman Martyrology.
